Baking a cake in the microwave is very easy ! Here's a simple way to do it:
Ingredients:
• 4 tablespoons of all-purpose flour,
• 4 tablespoons of sugar
• 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder ,
• 1/8 teaspoon of baking powder,
• Pinch of salt,
• 3 tablespoons of milk,
• 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil,
• 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract,
Instructions:
1. Mix the dry ingredients: In a microwave-safe mug (a large mug works best), combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Stir well to make sure everything is evenly mixed.
2. Add the wet ingredients: Add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir everything together until you have a smooth batter. Make sure there are no lumps.
3. Microwave the cake: Microwave the mug on high for about 1 minute and 30 seconds. The cake should rise and look set on top. If it’s still a bit wet in the center, microwave it for an additional 10–15 seconds. Be careful not to overcook it, or it might get dry.
4. Let it cool: Let the cake sit for a minute or so to cool down before eating. You can top it with whipped cream, ice cream, or a drizzle of chocolate sauce if you like.
