To change your Facebook name or username, follow these steps:
To Change Your Facebook Name:
On Desktop:

Log in to Facebook: Go to Facebook.com and log into your account.
Access Settings: Click on the downward arrow in the top right corner of the screen and select Settings & Privacy, then click Settings.
Go to "Name": In the left sidebar, under the General tab, click on Name.
Edit Your Name: Enter your new first, middle, and/or last name. You can also add a nickname or maiden name here.
Review Name Guidelines: Facebook has certain guidelines on acceptable names (e.g., no symbols, numbers, or unusual capitalization).
Enter Your Password: Once you've made the changes, Facebook will ask you to enter your password for security purposes.
Save Changes: Click Review Change, choose how your name will appear, and then click Save Changes.

On Mobile (Facebook App):

Open the Facebook App and log in.
Go to Menu: Tap on the three horizontal lines (hamburger menu) in the bottom right (iOS) or top right (Android).
Select "Settings & Privacy": Tap it, and then tap Settings.
Go to "Personal Information": Under the Account section, tap on Personal Information.
Change Name: Tap on Name, then enter your new first, middle, and/or last name.
Review Name Guidelines: Ensure your name complies with Facebook’s naming rules.
Enter Your Password: After entering the new name, Facebook will prompt you to enter your password for security.
Save Changes: Tap Review Change, choose how your name will appear, and tap Save Changes.
