To download the thumbnail of an Instagram video, follow these steps:

1. Using Instagram Website (Desktop or Mobile Browser)
You can get the thumbnail of an Instagram video by extracting the image directly from the video URL.

Steps:
Open Instagram in your browser (Chrome, Safari, etc.).
Find the Video: Go to the post containing the video whose thumbnail you want to download.
Copy the Video URL:
Click the three dots (•••) in the top right corner of the post.
Select "Copy Link".
Modify the URL:
The copied link will look something like this: https://www.instagram.com/p/XXXXXXXXX/
Append /media to the end of the URL. It should now look like this: https://www.instagram.com/p/XXXXXXXXX/media
Open the URL in your browser:
After modifying the link, press Enter.
The page will display the video thumbnail (cover image) as a large image.
Right-click on the Thumbnail: Right-click on the image (or tap and hold on mobile) and select "Save Image As..." to download the thumbnail.
